FELT ROOFING:

Including Replacement Decking and Rooflight installation.

In each of the following examples the new roof covering was fitted using the Torch-on method and depicts some of the different Mineral colour finishes available.

The systems can also be installed by bonding each layer in hot bitumen but this method is not as widely used.

One of the below projects shows rooflight replacement and in this instance 16 No. were installed.

RUBBER ROOFING:

Including Rubberbond Epdm,Warm roof insulation and replacement Upvc cladding.

The following examples clearly show the smooth quality finish that can be achieved using the unique Rubberbond Epdm fleece-backed membrane.
The 3 metre wide rolls ensure side laps are kept to a minimum.

A warm roof installation is shown on one project and can be secured in several ways ie. Mechanically fixed,Torch bonded and as in this instance with professional roofing adhesive (INSTASTIK).

Also illustrated is an example of replacement Upvc cladding to all side elevations in two different colours incorporating insulation between and over timbers.

A black plastisol coated steel edge trim is fitted to all perimeters.
Edge trims are available in several materials including Grp and aluminium.

	Fishbourne, West Sussex: 1300m² Requirements: Remove all existing stone chippings from roof areas to leave a clean, prepared surface. Install Kingspan roof insulation and Rubberbond EPDM fleece-backed single ply membrane fully adhered to insulation. Remove and replace UPVC cladding and all elevations including the fixing of new insulation behind the new installation. The completed project is supported by our 20 year guarantee.
	Bridport, Dorset: 1200m² Requirements: To overlay existing felt waterproofing to 6 buildings. The specification included new roof insulation mechanically fixed through the old system and a Rubberbond EPDM fleece-backed single ply membrane adhered to new insulation.

	IBM - North Harbour, Portsmouth: 2600m² An area of 2600m² was in need of complete refurbishment and it was decided to remove all solar-chippings using de-gritting machines. Taking away all existing paving slabs and all cast iron roof outlets (approx. 80 in number). The roof was to thoroughly cleaned and primed. A three layer felt system was supplied and installed incorporating a vented base layer. A 2mm underlay and a 4mm mineral capsheet all laid using the torch-on method. A mineral capsheet was specially manufactured by Delta Waterproofing to the clients preferred colour. After installation of the blue capsheet a dark grey mineral capsheet was chosen (to blend with the smoke glass windows and contrast with the blue capsheet). This was installed to denote a walkway.
	Sports Pavillion - Ipswich: 200m² Take up existing felt and roof decking including all rooflights. To fix new plywood deck and upstands to take new rooflights. Install three layer, high performance, torch-on felt with green mineral capsheet and install new rooflights.
	Swansea Centre - Wellingborough: 5000m² Prime existing asphalt roof, install two layer torch-on felt of underlay and brown mineral capsheet using Anderson's profile system. Materials used in this project supplied by others. The client voiced concerns at seeing a protrustion of bitumen at the side and header laps. To overcome this problem we suggested laying loose mineral granules into the bead of bitumen whilst still hot and dressing using a steel roller. This operatioin produced a far more professional and aesthetically pleasing finish. Through the quality of our labour the main contractor won the Anderson's "Contract of the Year" award.
