The client voiced concerns at seeing a protrustion of bitumen at the side and header laps. To overcome this problem we suggested laying loose mineral granules into the bead of bitumen whilst still hot and dressing using a steel roller.
This operatioin produced a far more professional and aesthetically pleasing finish.
Through the quality of our labour the main contractor won the Anderson's "Contract of the Year" award.
