IBM - North Harbour, Portsmouth: 2600m²
An area of 2600m² was in need of complete refurbishment and it was decided to remove all solar-chippings using de-gritting machines.
Taking away all existing paving slabs and all cast iron roof outlets (approx. 80 in number).
The roof was to thoroughly cleaned and primed.
A three layer felt system was supplied and installed incorporating a vented base layer. A 2mm underlay and a 4mm mineral capsheet all laid using the torch-on method.
A mineral capsheet was specially manufactured by Delta Waterproofing to the clients preferred colour.
After installation of the blue capsheet a dark grey mineral capsheet was chosen (to blend with the smoke glass windows and contrast with the blue capsheet). This was installed to denote a walkway.
